Currently I work at
AltiGen Communications,
Inc. (NASDAQ:ATGN). AltiGen Communications is a leading
manufacturer of business class Voice-over-IP PBX phone systems and call
center software.
As a Product Manager, achievements have
included re-inventing the company as a provider of cutting edge VoIP-PBX
telephone systems and bringing AltiGen’s first IP-Phone to market
resulting in a 50% increase in company revenue since launch.
Product line responsibilities have included the
AltiWare OE PBX switching software and client applications, Alti-IP 600
VoIP phone, AltiServ Office class of TDM based switches, AltiServ VoIP
based switches and the entire suite of telephony expansion cards,
including VoIP line cards, digital trunking (T1/E1/PRI), analog station
and analog trunk interfaces.
Currently I hold responsibility for maintaining the
Software Developer Kit, Hosted IP-PBX solutions, and corporate workflow
systems.
Responsibilities have also included standard product development and
launch activities of MRD/PRD ownership, press releases and marketing
collateral creation and content contribution, the chairing of regular
cross functional team meetings with engineering, manufacturing, QA, and
marketing, interfacing with major service providers, managing OEM/ODM
and strategic marketing partnerships, continuous competitive research
and analysis, product pricing and positioning, department budgets,
regular channel and customer interaction through training seminars,
focus groups and sales support. I also participated in tradeshows,
industry events and press/analyst briefings and had regular high level
interaction with internal, partner and customer VP’s and CEO’s.
Other activities included membership on the AltiGen European product
launch team where my duties included the localization of AltiGen’s
products, assuring our products complied with CE safety and emissions
requirements and international travel for distributor and reseller
recruitment and training.
